The Shady Ladies 5th Annual Quilt Show

The Shady Ladies announce their 5th annual quilt show at Lake Logan Episcopal Center in Haywood County, NC. We will be showing many of the current projects quilted by the ever prolific Shady Ladies, approximately 100 quilts total. Included will be our 2008 challenge, "Playing the Numbers." Many of the quilts are for sale and we will again have a boutique selling quilts and quilt related items. Dates - May 30, 31 & June 1 Hours are 10 am - 5 pm , Friday & Saturday.� 12 Noon - 5 pm, Sunday� Admission fee - $3.00 [to benefit the Episcopal Center] Lunch is available in the dining hall and there is also a picnic area for those inclined. [The dining hall has a number of quilts for viewing as well.] Directions: from Waynesville, take Pigeon St. [276 South] for 5 miles to Lake Logan Road[Hwy 215], which intersects 276 at the little store in Bethel, right before Jukebox Junction. Take a right and travel another 5 miles to Lake Logan Episcopal Center. Signs will be in place along the way.
